Malacca Straits Hotel, a nice 45 bed-rooms Batik Boutique style hotel centrally located in the heart of Malacca Tengah. It is within walking distance to many tourist attractions namely the Dataran Pahlawan (
Warriors Square
), Fort Santiago (A Formosa arch), Mahkota Medical Center, Mahkota Parade, Pahlawan Melaka Mall and the newly opened Heeren Mall. Breakfast was served at it's Terrace Cafe and all guests were spoilt of many local and continental flavors ie. Nasi Lemak, Mee Goreng, Teochew Porridge just to name a few…..

* The stay at Malacca Straits Hotel was certainly a pleasant stay. We stayed for 2 nights. We took the standard room and to our surprise the room was spacious and clean. The customer service was good; they are always willing to help…
* We had the basic room. The room was large, beds firm, and the shower head was very nice. Staff is pleasant. The breakfast buffet is mediocre and I could have used a bedside light. For the money, it was a good place to stay….
* Malacca Straits Hotel was recommended by a friend when I recently could not secure any 4 or 5 stars hotel during super peak period. I booked a Queen Studio. We had very litte expectations and was pleasantly surprised when we checked in. The room was spacious and clean. It even have a desktop which comes with free internet (bit slow but hey….
